Home media. Missing was released on digital platforms on March 7, 2023, and on DVD and Blu-ray on March 28, 2023. It was then released on Netflix on May 20, and became the number 1 most streamed movie in the US within 2 days.

This editing certainly helps with pacing, and this story is also paced astonishingly well. It never drags. And it never reveals too much or too little information at once. It's a very intriguing little mystery crime story that kept me on my toes until the final few minutes.

James stabs Grace, and then tries to force June to go away with him. A revived Grace attacks him from behind and fatally stabs him with a broken piece of glass. The scene of his death transitions to a true crime Netflix special made about June's story.

Though June had been told that her father, Tim Griffin's James, had died when she was younger, the reality was that he had actually been sent to prison, both for abusing Grace and running drugs, where he had been for years. June was then taken by her mother to Los Angeles where the two of them could start over.

Also, Grace never actually stepped foot on the plane and was instead kidnapped, thanks to Kevin and James who were actually friends from prison. During a raid by police, Kevin is killed after being abandoned by James and June also learns that her computer was being monitored this whole time.

When her mother disappears while on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June's search for answers is hindered by international red tape. Stuck thousands of miles away in Los Angeles, June creatively uses all the latest technology at her fingertips to try and find her before it's too late. However, as she digs ever deeper, her digital sleuthing soon raises more questions than answers.

The films was shot entirely on screens using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The production team rebuilt graphic worlds and recreated user interfaces from different companies. They also created advanced rigs to simulate footage from iPhones, which were used as storytelling devices.

Not as scary as described

Really good and interesting movie. It has some scary scenes but nothing huge. I would say 12 and up maybe even 11 year olds.
